Summer 1932. Gabriele Boccalatte and Ninì Pietrasanta meet on the Mont Blanc: they climb together and fall in love. Until 1936 they live their great mountaneering season opening some of the most difficult routes in the Alps as climbing partners. A few years after Ninì's death, their son finds in an old trunk the images shot by his mother.
Gigi Giustiniani (Varallo Sesia, 1981) works as film-maker and video-operator since 2005. He directed La casa del drago (2005), Vacanze amare(2012), Montagna dei vivi (2013) and took part into collective projects such as Milano 55,1. Cronaca di una settimana di passioni (2011) and Relay (2011). He worked as cinematographer for Fish Head (2013) and Une parole libre (2014).
Raffaele Rezzonico is a dramatist and author for theatre, cinema and documentaries. He recently wrote the script for plays such as L’insonne (directed by C. Autelli, prod. Crt, Milan | Lab121), Milena (monologue for Elisa Bottiglieri), La morte di Ivan Il’ic (directed by C. Autelli, prod. Crt, Milano | Lab121), Signor Perelà? (directed by M. Furlani, prod.
