A daring portrait of a disabled man yearning for intimacy in a world that would rather ignore him.
Martin Edralin is a Toronto based filmmaker. HOLE marks his return to filmmaking after a three-year hiatus and a new direction for his creative work. HOLE had its world premiere at Locarno where it was awarded a jury prize. The film also won grand prizes at Clermont-Ferrand and Curta Cinema (Brazil) and was selected to screen at major international film festivals including Toronto, Sundance, BFI London and AFI Fest. In 2014, Martin was invited to participate in Locarno’s Filmmakers Academy and the Reykjavík International Film Festival’s Transatlantic Talent Lab. He is currently developing another short while writing his first feature.
