The documentary follows the creating process of a sculpture by artist Velasco Vitali from wax to bronze at the Fonderia Artistica Battaglia in Milan. A team of skilled artisans operates in a hundred-year-old foundry, their work showing an unchanged technique: lost-wax casting.
Francesco Clerici (Milan, 1983) has been holding primary and secondary school workshops on film production and didactic since 2003. He is a fim-maker, documentary director and writer. From 2009 he collaborates on artistic projects with Velasco Vitali and the Internazional Art Cinema Federation (CICAE).
