Biography/Filmography:

Amir Mehran, born in Iran in 1981, graduates at IRIB as Animation Director. Member of ASIFA and Iranian Young Cinema Society, he directs Silence of Shadows, his first short fiction movie, in 1998. His interest in animation begins in 2005, first with The Lost Waves and then with Persian Paintings and Silence City. In 2012 he makes Aperture. His last work is The Butterfly Man.
