A story about Amish family who years before had settled in a foreign land. Guided by the singular and attentive regard of the director, we share a brief moment of their life. The delicate photography shows us characters in an authentic relationship with nature and god.

Biography/Filmography:

Piotr Zlotorowicz was born on May 22nd, 1982 in Debno. In 2007 he graduated from the Electrical Engineering Faculty at Szczecin University of Technology with a M.Sc. degree. He began shooting his first amateur films in 2001. In 2006, Piotr entered the Polish National Film School in Lodz to study film directing. His student documentary “Charcoal Burners” (2010) was screened at about 120 international festivals, including DOK Leipzig, and garnered recognition in the form of over 30 prizes and awards. Another of his short films, a fiction titled “Normal People” (2011), premiered at the 51st Krakow Film Festival and was awarded the Silver Tadpole for cinematography at Plus Camerimage 2011.
