1997. New Year’s Eve. A man braves the cold winter night in order to bring a friend of his a cake as a gift. The cake never makes it to the receiver because it ends up in front of the door of a poor gipsy’s family.
Biography/Filmography:
Milko Yovchev. Born in 1985 in Varna, Bulgaria. Graduated film acting at National Academy for Film and Theatre Art in 2009. In 2010 he made his debut in the cinema with the last movie of Ivaylo Hristov “Footsteps in the Sand”. A Cake Story is his debut as an director. The film was selected for the Jameson Award Competition during the International Sofia Film Festival.
