Biography Nikolai Maderthoner: Nikolai was born 1991 in Austria and while going to school at the HTL Ortweinschul in Graz, specialized in audiovisual media design. He also worked as a freelance animator while attending school and created his own films. Since October 2012, he studies Animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. After finishing school and a year of voluntary work, he started an internship at the Animationsinstitut of the Filmakademie, where we was able to work on various student projects. Thereafter, he started studying Audiovisual Media, but realized that he wasn’t an engineer, and would rather explore the Wild West of storytelling. In 2012, he began studying Interactive Media at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
