Romania, 1986: Gregor and Vali want to escape. They will cross the Danube swimming. On the other bank of the river there is Yugoslavia. They need each other, but they do not trust each other. Each of them has to make his choice. That’s the way everything begins...
Biography/Filmography:
Anca Miruna Lazarescu (Timisoara, Romania, 1979) moved to Germany with her family in 1990. She studied direction at the School of Cinema and Television of Munich and she worked and lived in Los Angeles and Israel. Among her works there are: “The Secret of Deva” (doc. 2003), “Bucaresti-Berlin” (short film 2004), “Salma Beneath Two Skies” (2005), “Es Wird Einmal Gewesen” (doc. 2009).
