Everyone who enters a crime scene, leaves something behind and takes something away. “Something Left, Something Taken” is an animated dark comedy about a vacationing couple’s encounter with a man they believe to be the Zodiac Killer.

Biography/Filmography:

Known for their playful and humorous mixed-media animations, Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata combine handcrafted art, photography and digital techniques. Since they began collaborating in 2007, Max and Ru have directed TV commercials, music videos, PSAs, and independent films. Their work has won numerous awards and screened in over 175 festivals worldwide. In June of 2011, they begin a two-year residency at the Netherlands Institute of Animated Film.
