211: ANNA tells the story of Anna Politkovskaja, a brave Russian journalist with a strong sense of justice, who was murdered in front of her house for her reportages on the horrors of the war in Chechnya and the abuses of the Russian power.
Giovanna Massimetti is a television screen writer, a scriptwriter and a director. Since 1991, she has been working for various news and entertainment shows for RAI. She directed numerous short films that took part in important international festivals. Paolo Serbandini is a journalist, a scriptwriter and a television director. He studied Philology at the University of Moscow. He worked with Russian directors, such as Bondarciuk and Konchalovsky, as well as with some of the great names of the Italian cinema, like Vittorio De Sica. He wrote many screenplays; the last one is that of “I Demoni di San Pietroburgo”, a film by Giuliano Montaldo.
