Elvira is 74, she is a widow but she does not live alone: she tries her best to look after her grandchild while her daughter is far away because of her work. Alessandra works in a small market in the Venetian province, reporting to a not very polite master-owner…this is not the job she dreamt of, but she wonders whether looking for another one is a wise choice, given the critical times. Maybe, there is no need for a conscious decision to change: a moment, a casual meeting might be enough. Or, maybe, the most important thing is to resist and get by, by any means.
Elisa Frasson (1980), after studying music and acting, graduated in cinema in Padua. She collaborated with various audiovisual production in the area where she lives. She founded the youth group “Cantiere Cinema” with which she won the competition announcement G.P.S (Venetian Region) for the making of a short movie: Grana, her debut as a director.
