Quan is a story about a young boy tired of working for his relatives in the rice paddies and dreaming of a life where he is free to pursue whatever he desires. Doing so, he befriends an elderly bus driver, who teaches him the value of doing something to enjoy for a living. Finding a new family, leaving your past isn't an easy task, especially for a young boy, and destiny can always find a way to turn things around a life.
Karzan Kader (Suleymania, Kurdistan, 1982) ha lasciato il Kurdistan nel 1982, durante la Guerra in Iraq, dopo un faticoso di viaggio di un anno. Ha frequentato la scuola nazionale del film in Svezia, la Dramatiska Institutet. Ha realizzato numerosi cortometraggi, tra cui “Quan” (2009) e spot, e il documentario e il documentario “VIP!”; tra i suoi lavori come regista e sceneggiatore: “The last four” e “Bekas” (2010), “Papola” (2006).
