“All about me” is a movie on the power of the subconscious. Kamil is 32 years old. Nine years ago, he turned speechless due to a mental illness. Since then, music and art are the only ways to express himself. But Kamil is frustrated and feels that he can’t put up with his disability any longer. The movie tells Kamil’s interior journey and his attempt to understand the reason why his mind is “blocked”. The public attends, with impotence, to his struggle for setting himself free from his illness and regaining the gift of speech.

Katharina Bühler was born and brought up in Achern, Germany. Firstly, she devoted herself to painting and photography, but when she was twenty she discovered the passion for cinema: she studied audiovisual media in Stuttgart and graduated in 2004. She has been collaborating with many filmmaking companies; since 2002, she has worked as a freelancer for WDR and as a cameraman. In 2005 she enrolled to the Filmakademie of Baden-Wuerttemberg, for which she worked at various projects.
