Bibione Bye Bye One is the second feature documentary by Alessandro Rossetto: it was screened in preview in 1999, at the “Cinema du Réel”, and then selected in numerous festivals such as “Vision du Réel” in Nyon, Switzerland, and “Message for the man” in Saint Petersburg. It is a very personal work, which reflects on the condition of a town, a seaside station, presented as a mirror of the human condition at the end of the XX century.
Alessandro Rossetto was born in 1963. He studied documentary cinema at the Centre de Recherche Cinématographique of the University of Nanterre in Paris. He directed Il fuoco di Napoli (1997), Bibione Bye-Bye-One (1999), Chiusura (2001), Nulla due volte (2005), Feltrinelli (2006).
