| ”6 conceptions of freedom” is a strong visual documentary wich looks at social and physical frames of imagination. It explores loneliness and powerlessness in our ideal of ”freedom”. Asking wether freedom a question of uncertainty or happiness, action or condition?
Thomas A Østbye is an artist and filmdirector running PLYMSERAFIN production company, working with film, photography and installations. His last film: ”In Your Dreams” received the ”Prix Franqais” at the the ”National Autumn Exhibition”, the shortfilmaward at ”BIFF”, and was nominated for the ”Amanda Awards”, the ”Governments Human Rights price” and the ”Nordic Panorama”.
