Adil and Yusuf are two Somali brothers, they are twenty years old and live in Rome. Like every morning they catch the train to go looking for a job, but Adil does not feel like being a slave, while Yusuf believes that working is the only way to integrate in society. Once on the train they have a fight, then they part. Adil spends his day with a friend and a girls saves him from an unexpected event. Yusuf goes working at the meat market and faces a difficult choice which will influence his life.
Claudio Noce developed through short films, coming to his first works in advertising with FilmMaster, Milano. In 2005 he wins the David di Donatello with “Aria”. In 2007 he was the only Italian filmmaker in competition at the 64th edition of the Venice International Film Festival with the award – winning “Adil e Yusuf”. He is currently working on his first feature film.
