A father meet his children Giulio and Lorenzo, respectively 11 and 9 years old, after school. Together they dart out of the city on a flaming convertible, towards the mountain house where they will spend the weekend unknown to their mother. It’s Giulio’s birthday and his father gives him a rifle as a present. The day after the three of them enter the wood for a shoot.
Francesco Apice (Roma, 1976) graduates in Contemporary Art History at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome and obtains a diploma in screenwriting at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography. He collaborates on the script of many short films, like “L’armadio”, “In famiglia”, “La banda”, and on the feature film “La casa sulle nuvole”, produced by Rai Cinema. In 2006, with the script for “La preda”, she wins the Pescara Corto Script and in 2007 the Ministry of Cultural Activities and Heritage gives its support for her to realize the film.
