Life is short. Especially for Marcus, who struggles to combine his family life with his sexual fantasies. In his everyday life Marcus is a married man with two kids and he has a steady job as a software engineer. But besides that, he loves parties and as he is a sadomasochist enjoys S&M sessions. This part of his passions he cannot live with his wife, but with his girlfriend Bina in Hamburg.  The film follows Marcus on his trip to Hamburg, where Marcus and Bina can exercise their sadomasochistic affinity. From a very intimate perspective, the film shows his concept of love and relationship beyond classic conventions.

Johanna was born in 1982 in Munich, Germany. Soon she developed an insatiable interest in photography and cultural diversity that increased with several backpacking trips with her parents through Asia, Africa, America and Europe. After she finished school in 2003, she travelled for eleven month to South America to work on several photography projects on social-society and political relevant themes. In 2004 she started to make her own films as a director, while working at a small film production company in Cologne. In 2006 she began her studies at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
