Ceyda, a young Turkish woman from a high social class, arrives in France to live with the man she loves. Soon she faces sudden difficulties and an unexpected loneliness... Until when she meets, on the construction site next to her place, an old Asian man, who turns out to speak a language close to hers. This man from the other side of the world seems to have her same problems...

Çağla Zencirci (Ankara, Turkey, 1976) and Guillaume Giovanetti (Lyon, France, 1978) directed several documentaries in Middle-East and Central Asia, among which “Recovering Bam”, shot in Iran, awarded the Special Prize of theJury in Ankara 2005. They directed, under the guidance of Abbas Kiarostami, the documentary fiction “Carnegami”, Special Prize of the Jury in Saint-Maur Festival (France, 2006), Prize of the Best Film in Noci (Italy, 2007), and screened in many Festivals in Europe, North America and Asia. Afterwards they shot the fiction documentary “shantyGARDENtown”, which competed in the Berlinale 2007. They're now working for their first full length film “Dil!”, a road movie across Pakistan.
