LA MINACCIA

This is the beginning of a journey in the country which gave the start to the red wave in Latin America. Is Venezuela the dream of a growing socialist society or just another mystification of populism and dictatorship?
 
Silvia Luzi, a journalist specialised in international affairs, has worked for Il Corriere della Sera, Il Messaggero and the Tg1's editorial unit for Foreign Affairs. She has conducted several news reports and reportages from Africa. Luca Bellino (1978), documentary filmmaker, has realised many documentaries, like I Fuochi e la Montagna (Mostra del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro, Biennale Artisti del Mediterraneo), Mate Y Moneda (premio Documè 2005), and other videoart works in Argentina and Chile. He deals mainly with migrations and politics. He teaches Documentary Film at the Università RomaTre, MIPC.
